Appendix07 では、未来の太陽電池の提案をしています。
イメージセンサーが超感度であるのP+NP接合型の
Pinned Photodiode、萩原の1975年の発明による
ものだと説明してきましたが、このP+NP接合型の
Pinned Photodiodeの超感度性を、特に紫外線の
短波長光が豊富な太陽光の光電変換素子として
有効です。太陽電池の量子効率は現在20％しか
ありませんが、このPPD型の太陽電池は、将来
60％以上の量子効率も夢ではないものと期待
されます。今一生懸命に、萩原72歳ですが残りの
人生をかけて、今も夢を追っている状態です。
