PN接合を逆バイアスしますと、電流が流れませんが、
容量としては使うことが可能です。
One C One Tの MOS Image Sensor は
DRAM回路とほぼ同じ構成で作られます。
また、 chip サイズと 歩留まりも、
生産性と採算性で、強い相関があります。
イメージセンサーは3分の2 inch光学系から、
スマフォや携帯用に小さな chipサイズが
このごろ主流になってきています。
SRAMやDRAMはなだらかに大容量化に
向かって進んでいます。
またイメージセンサーのピクセルサイズも
感度を犠牲にしてまで小さくはできません。
イメージセンサーの絵素のサイズは
かなりなだらかな減少になります。
また CMOSの微細化技術の進歩のお蔭で、
また現在では、３次元の実装技術により、
SRAM 構造の各々のメモリーCell に
光を照射して、受光素子として利用し、
同時にその出力信号をAD変換器や
Flip-Flop回路に入力処理することも
可能となりました。
